Be invited to another interesting exchange in our Y&A event series “Get Inspired”. This event format creates a platform for inspiring conversations between young professionals and long-standing members. Learn more about their career paths and their experiences.
On 29th March we are very happy to welcome Dr. Maryam Kazemi-Manesh.
Her topic: “Changing jobs in critical times”.
This is frequently seen as “negative” and “destroying” your perfect CV. It is as much as a generalized “Cliché” as beliefs about relationship myths in the good old decades. Maryam tells her story how she had been leaving jobs and searching for better opportunities. She did it especially during life threatening pandemic year of 2020, at which the whole business world went upside down. In a time period, where everybody was looking for certainty and security feelings, she left such a promising job for the one seeming more enthusiastic and challenging. With reflection about her past career stages, Maryam shares her learnings about changing jobs as part of a career path. The story covers also how she managed the earlier career switch from English-speaking academia to German business atmosphere, touching important aspects such as language challenge and cultural background.
The online event will take place in English and is cost free.
Dr. Maryam Kazemi-Manesh is a senior project manager and product manager for enterprise software development and delivery. Her over 15 years of consultancy experiences span from Financial Industry and Energy Sector to Telecommunication domain. She has been leading international and multi-disciplinary teams. As a digital transformation enthusiast, she consults her customers as a trusted advisor and liaise with stakeholders at different levels to facilitate their transformation journey.
